This body of work explores the ways we are shaped by the experiences that define our lives. Through portraiture that exists between the emotional and the physical, the paintings examine the relationship between mind and body, revealing how memory, emotion and lived experience leave their mark. Rather than depicting specific moments, they seek to capture the feeling of change itself: its vulnerability, resilience and quiet strength.
